About Our Team

After graduating from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1969, Dr. Garry Ziegenhagel opened the doors to his first dental office in Brentwood, Calgary. He had run the practice for 8 years when he decided that in order to better serve his numerous Cochrane dental patients he would open a satellite office in Cochrane in 1977. After 9 years of dividing his time between Cochrane and Calgary, he enjoyed the patients and Cochrane so much that he chose to work here full-time beginning in 1986.

Over the years, Cochrane has continued to change and grow but has not lost the character and feeling of a small town. Ziegenhagel Dentistry has also continued to grow and change and in 2008 Dr. Tristan Ziegenhagel joined our growing practice upon graduating from Loma Linda University.

Dr. Garry Ziegenhagel, although he will continue to fondly remember his patients, chose to retire in 2012. We are happy to report he is thoroughly enjoying his retirement. Dr. Tristan Ziegenhagel took the reigns of the practice and is proud to keep the clinic in the family.

Cochrane has been a big part of all of our lives here at Tristan Ziegenhagel Dentistry and we are all proud to call it home.
